DupeStack started with a simple question from stone customers: what actually cleans algae off sandstone, what will not etch limestone, and why one patio bottle costs five times another when the SDS names the same CAS number. The honest answer is usually the same chemistry in a different label.
The site is a reference I wanted to trust myself — one teardown per branded pack, one bulk active, one dilution ratio, one savings figure per working litre. Not influencer hacks; CAS numbers, mixing notes and UK COSHH-minded handling. If two brands share a molecule, the site says so. If they do not, they get separate pages.
Who it is for
UK householders and gardeners who would rather buy a kilogram of ferrous sulphate than pay for a television advert in a brightly coloured box. Educational first — not a substitute for the manufacturer SDS, a trade chemist, or prescribed medicine.
