The marketing claim
“3-in-1 systemic — blackspot, powdery mildew and rust”
The chemical reality
Fungus Clear Ultra is triticonazole at 10.2 g/L in a 225 ml rose bottle. Fifteen millilitres per litre lands at about 0.15 g/L — the same DMI triazole as a weighed pinch of 96% technical. It is not myclobutanil (Rose Clear), not tebuconazole (Provanto Fungus Fighter), and not sulphur.

The Marketing Claim & The Catch
A 225 millilitres pack of Fungus Clear Ultra Concentrate typically retails around £10.99 in lawn & garden. That is a UK shelf-price snapshot for the maths on this page — not a live shop quote or a manufacturer RRP. Listings, sizes and deals move. The marketing line is that you are buying a finished lifestyle product, not a weighed chemical.
On the pack: 3-in-1 systemic — blackspot, powdery mildew and rust; Protects new growth for weeks; and Use on roses, ornamentals, trees and shrubs.

Proprietary Blend & Dosage Breakdown
The labelled active is Triticonazole at 1.02%. Everything else in the pack is emulsifiable concentrate (solvents and oils).
At 1.02% active, most of what you pay for is carrier and packaging. The brand is selling convenience, fragrance and a label — not a uniquely potent molecule.
Branded working strength is whatever comes out of the bottle. The bulk alternative is 96% Triticonazole 96% technical, mixed to 1.59 g per 10 L water (≈0.15 g/L — Fungus Clear 15 ml/L band).

Active ingredient and cheaper alternative — FAQ
Is this the same as Provanto Fungus Fighter?
Same job family (systemic triazole fungicides) but different molecules. Provanto is tebuconazole (CAS 107534-96-3). Fungus Clear Ultra is triticonazole (CAS 131983-72-7). Rotate groups if blackspot persists; do not stack them in one tank.
Is this the same as Rose Clear Ultra?
No. Rose Clear is myclobutanil (CAS 88671-89-0), often with an insecticide in the ‘Ultra’ gun. Fungus Clear Ultra is triticonazole only. Different HSE numbers, different mixing maths.
